My journey in UX design spans over a decade, highlighted by robust educational credentials from Linnaeus University and the University of Applied Sciences Hamburg, and enriched by extensive professional experiences at leading companies like Diconium digital solutions GmbH and Eppendorf Instrumente. My expertise is not just in crafting appealing designs but also in leading projects that bridge user needs with innovative design solutions.
During my PhD tenure at Technical University Clausthal, I specialized in human-centered information systems. A key focus of my research was the ‘EmployID‘ project, which was designed to enhance the services provided to public employment agencies and their employees. My main contribution involved redesigning a community platform to improve user interaction, satisfaction, and ease of use. I played a pivotal role in restructuring and applying UX principles to the platform, significantly enhancing the overall user experience. This academic endeavor not only sharpened my research skills but also provided me with the opportunity to mentor and teach aspiring designers and developers, stressing the practical application of UX design in real-world scenarios.
